Overhead scanners allow us to digitise in a non-destructive way. The items for scanning are laid flat under the scanner head which then passes over the item in a single scanning process. This means items are not physically placed into the scanner nor are they folded, crushed or otherwise touched by the scanner and so reducing handling or damage during the digitisation process. This is a perfect solution for fragile documents, pictures or books and publications. High speed sheet fed scanners are perfect to bulk scanning of individual pages such as expenses, reports, receipts. These scanners can handle upto 60 sheets per minute, scanning both side simultaneously. Cutting edge software controls the flow, indexing, OCR, file naming and output.
